Environmentally Friendly Facilities
At Silver Willow, we have always been passionate about protecting and preserving the environment. We have operated completely “off the grid” since the course was established in 1988. Our unique facilities use only passive solar power and wind power, providing electricity for the buildings and throughout the grounds. Each of the 90+ clay target throwers throughout the courses are operated using batteries charged by small solar panels. Our facilities also feature a unique composting septic system, which effectively reduces our water consumption and waste. All of the clay targets thrown on the courses are biodegradable, ensuring that our grounds remain waste- and pollution-free. Read more about our facilities below.
