COVID-19 Measures and Precautions

We are very grateful Alberta health authorities have indicated we can remain open for business. We do however need to make a few changes to be able to continue to serve you. See the the Alberta Government’s COVID news page here or the restrictions for outdoor recreation here.

New restrictions as of Dec 13, 2020:

  • Silver Willow members still welcome to come and shoot
    • Members of different households must maintain 2 metre distancing while outdoors
  • Maximum 5 clients inside the clubhouse at a time
    • Access to washrooms still available
    • Masks are now mandatory inside the building (suggested, but not required outside)
    • Shopping – please call ahead to arrange a time so we can manage the number of people in the building at one time
  • We will no longer be able to offer our All Inclusive, Guided Guest, or Private Lessons until further notice

What we’re doing to help keep you safe:

  • The Cafe will remain closed until further notice with self-serve banana bread and free coffee still available
  • Offering curbside pickup for items purchased over the phone or our online store
    • We encourage you to call ahead to purchase clays or shells (which we can have outside and ready to go for when you arrive)
  • Regular cleaning/disinfecting of
    • Counters
    • Bathrooms
    • Credit card machine
    • Pens, etc.
    • Golf carts
  • Golf carts are available with a maximum of 2 people per cart
  • Plexiglass barriers are in place at reception
  • Sanitizers made available in club house and for use on the course
  • Booking times are 15 minutes apart

What you can do to protect yourself and others:

  • Please DO NOT visit Silver Willow if you have
    1. a fever
    2. a new or changed chronic cough,
    3. a sore throat that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    4. a runny nose that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    5. nasal congestion that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    6. shortness of breath that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    7. travelled internationally in the last 14 days
    8. had unprotected close contact with someone with confirmed or presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19
  • Participants must bring their own masks.
  • Members of different households must maintain the 2 metre distancing at all times
  • If you are meeting with other members to shoot (or with guests that are not from the same household), we strongly suggest you to travel here separately
  • Speaking of traveling here, we also respectfully request that, at this time, you do not go into the town of Carstairs for gas or any other purposes (if not a resident, of course)
  • Please park at least 10 feet apart and use the upper, lower and the overflow parking area out by the shop to keep the distance
  • Wear gloves and bring sanitizers for on the course with the controllers, or ask for them at the clubhouse
  • Wipe down the controllers before you use them at each station
  • Personal voice controllers for our EZ Pull system are available for purchase so you can shoot solo
