Don Day established Silver Willow in 1988 first raising pheasants, than expanding into Sporting Clays. Silver Willow's sporting clays range was the second to open in Alberta, and is now the oldest sporting clays range in the province. Don Day established the Alberta Sporting Clays Association (ASCA) in 1995, which now has 909 members. Diversifing into golf, Don designed and built the lynx-style, 9 hole, par 36 golf course in 1999. Silver Willow is a family owned and operating company that delivers quality service and an exceptional experience.
The environmentally friendly clubhouse was built in 1990, and runs 100% off the grid. The building consists of wood burning fireplaces, solar panels, wind generator and composting toilets.
